The Cologne Sequence of professional frameless shower door hinges is intended to accommodate 3/8 to 1/2 inch (10 to 12 millimeter) glass. The heavy duty Cologne hinge is equivalent in styling to the standard duty Pinnacle hinge, and the BGCU1 clamps. Available in both Wall Mount and Glass-to-Glass styles, it gives layout flexibility. Cologne Series Hinges are constructed of solid brass with all moving components (pins and springs) in stainless steel. This hinge requires a glass cutout for the hinge body. Two strategically placed pins inside the hinge offer template options, and fulfill two schools of thought for mounting shower door hinges. It permits the Cologne Hinge to be used with it's own "mouse-ears" cut-out, or in most instances fit competitive "mouse-ear" cut-outs. On the other hand, to permit increased adjust-ability, the two pins can be taken off that will allow the Cologne Hinge to fit it's own rectangular shape, sq. cornered cut-out, or in some situations, fit competitive rectangular shaped, sq. cornered cut-outs.
