The Cologne Sequence of professional frameless shower door hinges is designed to accommodate 3/8 to 1/2 inch (10 to 12 millimeter) glass. The heavy duty Cologne hinge is comparable in styling to the standard duty Pinnacle hinge, and the BGCU1 clamps. Available in both Wall Mount and Glass-to-Glass styles, it provides design flexibility. Cologne Series Hinges are constructed of solid brass with all moving elements (pins and springs) in stainless steel. This hinge requires a glass cutout for the hinge body. Two strategically placed pins inside the hinge produce cutout options, and fulfill two schools of thought for mounting shower door hinges. It lets the Cologne Hinge to be used with it's own "mouse-ears" cut-out, or in most cases fit competitive "mouse-ear" cut-outs. On the other hand, to allow increased adjust-ability, the two pins can be taken off that will allow the Cologne Hinge to fit it's own rectangular shape, square cornered cut-out, or in some cases, fit competitive rectangular shaped, sq. cornered cut-outs.
